Turn a post into an image

A post that did well on X has already been tested. Turning it into an image is the cheapest way to get it in front of the people who never open X: your Instagram followers, your LinkedIn network, the audience of a talk. Images also travel further inside those apps, because links out to another site are exactly what their feeds push down. This tool draws your post as a clean card on a colour background, sized for the place you are posting it, with your photo or initials and any image you attach.

A few things make these images work. Keep the text to what fits comfortably: the card shrinks the type to fit, but four to eight short lines read best on a phone. Use the Story size for vertical placements, where a square card leaves most of the screen empty. And pick a background that contrasts with your card: a light card on Ember or Ocean, a dark one on Paper.
